The four LiDAR streams, depth, poses, labels and splits are open and need no request. The RGB video and IR frames show identifiable people, so they are personal data and are released separately, for non-commercial academic research, on request.
The gated tier covers the same 2,341 sequences as the open release, in two
archives: laseract_rgb.tar (RGB video plus per-frame timestamps)
and laseract_ir.tar (16-bit IR frames plus timestamps), about
87 GB together. They line up take-for-take with the open tier, so
laseract_core.tar from the
download section supplies the labels, splits and
calibration for both.
Subjects wore face masks throughout recording. That is not anonymisation: build, gait and the unmasked part of the face remain visible, which is precisely why this tier is gated while the rest is open.

Non-commercial academic research. No commercial use.
No attempt to identify, re-identify or contact the subjects, and no person-identification, tracking or surveillance systems targeting them.
No re-publishing or mirroring, in whole or in part. Refer others here instead.
You also agree to cite the dataset, to treat the recordings consistently with the dignity and privacy of the people in them, and to delete your copy if the maintainers ask.
Our own re-identification benchmark shows that even the camera-free LiDAR data identifies subjects well above chance. Please treat every tier of this dataset as personal data, not just this one.
